Our Advanced Rider Training
The RoSPA Advanced Rider training course is widely regarded to be the most challenging advanced motorcycling course available to the public. At the end of your course, you have the option to take a test that is conducted by either a Serving or Retired Advanced Class 1 Certificate Police Officer.
You will graded your rider ability and knowledge of The Highway Code and RoadCraft. The Examiner will advise you at the time of completion of test as to your result. A compressive report on your performance will be provided and sent to your along with your Certificate from RoSPA Head Office.
The RoSPA awards consist of Gold, Silver & Bronze (you can fail).
The RoSPA Award is the highest that a civilian can achieve and is recognised as this in other countries.

In 2025 on the UK Road Networks 29896 people were either Killed or suffered Life Changing Injuries, this equates to one person being killed or seriously injured every 17 minutes.
During this period 1579 were killed with 367 of these being Motorcyclists.
Motorcyclists in the UK make up just 1% of the motoring community, but make up 25% of those either Fatally or sustaining Life Changing Injury.
